Due to lack of spare parts, repairs are often difficult. Owners of older boats with marinised 1.9 and 2.1 Indenor enginies often don’t know what to do, since manufacturers and dealers stopped having the engines and spares in their program.

In 1995 the last 2.5 liter engines left the production line and run in Peugeot 505, Granada, Sierra, Scorpio, Mahindra, ARO and DAF.

For owners of older Land Rovers the xd3 represents a good alternative to the original engine.

Obtaining new spare parts and restoration of used items should make xd88, xd90, xd2 and xd3 engines run smoothly for a good number of years.
